My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, while a little dated, added character to the hotel and were overall pleasant, but not quite as advertised. Unfortunately, my room happened to be above the kitchen with a very noisy extractor fan that disrupted my sleep. On the bright side, the room was spacious and well presented.

The rooms, while a little dated, added character to the hotel and were pleasant overall, but not as advertised. The noisy extractor fan above the kitchen made it impossible to sleep at times. However, the room was big and well presented.
Service

The service during my stay was a mix of experiences. While the staff, in general, were helpful and cheery, the breakfast restaurant staff seemed a bit grumpy in comparison. Nonetheless, the receptionist was fantastic and went above and beyond to assist.

The hotel's location was ideal for getting away from the pace of life, perfect for our itinerary. It was beautiful, although the internet signal was spotty. Despite the slightly bumpy access road, the location overall was good, and access to London was convenient.
Dining

The dining experience had its ups and downs. While the buffet-style meals were good quality with plenty of choices, it was disappointing to find out they ran out of hash browns before the end of service. I feel there should have been more variety in the breakfast options.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were good overall, with room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and a welcome drink available. However, the presence of the night cleaners outside the door at 8 am was a bit disruptive for those wanting to sleep in.

The hotel rooms were spacious and very comfortable, but the toilet flush was broken, and the distance from the reception was inconvenient. The service was friendly, albeit a bit disjointed in communication. The location was fantastic, although there were disturbances from a large Golf party. The dining experience had a good selection with a nice view, but some items were of poor quality.

The hotel is in a lovely location, perfect for an overnight stay while visiting Warner Brothers Harry Potter Tour nearby. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit chilly, especially on the first floor. The service was a mix of good and not so great, with a fantastic lady at reception but instances of 'cold' service. The dining options were varied and good but sometimes served cold. The picturesque surroundings were a highlight, but it could be a hassle going up to the bar. Overall, a welcoming place with some minor drawbacks.

The hotel rooms are in need of a refurbish and offer views of concrete and walls, but the overall stay was brilliant. The location is fantastic, though some difficulties were faced. The dining experience had a good range of items but could do with more variety. Facilities were satisfactory.
